About Becki
Becki Taylor was born in Roseburg, Oregon but grew up in Chilliwack, B.C. Canada. She resides near Bellingham, WA and has lived there for 23 years with her family. She has four grown children, James, Melissa, Tim and Katie Taylor, two daughter in-laws, and four grandchildren.
James and his wife Jennifer have four children: Jace, Jackson, Jacob and Jordyn, whom Becki finds SO much joy in baking with. When they come to grandma’s house, one of the first things out of their mouths is, “Grandma, can we bake cookies?!” James is a Wedding Photographer (www.jamestaylorphotography.com) and they often work at the same weddings. Jen has the hardest job of all- a stay at home mom! Way to go Jennifer!
Tim and his wife, Michelle, live in L.A. and were married just one year ago. Becki and her other kids drove down just in time to make the wedding cake, help do last minute decor and enjoy a wonderful wedding at the House of Blues Concert Hall in Disneyland! What an amazing time!
Melissa is engaged to Colin Borst and she lives in Vancouver, B.C. as a hairstylist and runs her own clothing company called Love, Deming. Colin lives in Calgary and is graduating University next year, in which they then plan to marry next summer!
Katie lives in Bellingham and works at Woods Coffee as an amazing Barista, and is planning to go to school in Vancouver this fall to become a Home Economics Teacher! She already has one degree under her belt as a fashion designer. She loves her coffee and is excited to move to a city with a bit more fashion!
All of these things compile who Becki is..she LOVES her family and plays an intrical part in each member’s life. She spends 5 days out of her week taking care of her mother in Chiliwack, B.C. but looks forward to the busy summer wedding season in which she spends a lot of time making beautiful cakes!
Becki started making cakes many years ago, and found that not only did she really enjoy it, she really had a knack for making it taste super good and look amazing! The two best qualities when looking for a Wedding Cake!
